River Hedgepeth is a sophomore attending UNCG to pursue a BA in Drama. While in college they have found a passion for theatre for young audiences with LGBTQ+ themes. They have recently been involved in Chester Paints the World Purple (Chester), the Little Prince (Little Prince), the Yellow Boat (Benjamin), and Lilly's Purple Plastic Purse (ASM). In 2018, they devised a documentary theatre script, Out, NC: Greensboro a play based off interviews with LGBTQ+ people from the south. They are so grateful to Chad Parsons for giving them this opportunity to learn and grow.
